For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.
Are you stuck in an area in your life you are struggling to change (alcohol, drugs, sex, food, smoking, gambling...) where you understand all to well the words of Romans 7? Do you want Recovery to mean more than just temporarily stopping harmful behaviors, because just not using isn’t very meaningful?
A “grace based” support-teaching group will be meeting at the church to help those who are dealing with areas of change and recovery. The group will be using “The Genesis Process” to find new ways to live meaningful lives to overcome and change harmful areas in your life.
The Genesis Process gives those who work through the program the tools they need to deal with the root reasons that they are continuing to hurt themselves with unwanted behaviors so they can move into meaningful, lasting recovery.
Genesis group will meet every week in the Sanctuary on Tuesday nights at 6:00pm.
There is a special informational meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13th, at 6:00pm. Group material costs $20.
